2019 Plus one month is here and I cannot believe my last post on Longstream Coaching and Training blog was over 2 1/2 years ago. Yes, that is right – 2 1/2 years! Luckily my ankle has healed (my last post) and I have been busy with many things, including helping some discover a new path to take in their lives. It doesn’t matter your age either, you too can change or morph or become that butterfly! And just because I haven’t posted lately, doesn’t mean I can’t begin today and move forward.
We all have a habit of looking back and not always in a positive way. Rather than look to see what hasn’t worked or what has stood in our way to achieving what we hoped and adjust, we give up and totally disregard all of that learning. I know I did. Not only did I get involved with many other things (like running for a local office, which I didn’t win, and getting involved in several other directions) when I should have been looking at what worked with Longstream Coaching and Training and what didn’t work? How can I move ahead and make Longstream a coaching and workshop facilitation company that is successful? And how can I help more people to enter a metamorphosis to become who they want to become and do what they want to do – pursuing their potential by being true to yourself.
So how does one go about changing? One thing you can do right now is to start to write down what you want out of life. I know this seems rather cliche, however, we all have a tendency to become complacent in our lives and then one day we wake up and we are not where we want to be or doing what we really want to do. So start writing it down. What do you see in the future that is satisfying? What are you doing? Where are you? What do you see? Who surrounds you? Use all of your senses and then come back here next week to see what the next step is because even a caterpillar doesn’t become a butterfly overnight.
Over the next few weeks I will take you step-by-step in what you can do to make changes in your life. I know it took some true soul searching to see know I am not about to give up on Longstream.
We can do this! Be open to the possibilities.
